Addition: Shaker Heights, OH

This is a two story addition to a rigorous and beautifully detailed brick Georgian home. We emulated the existing details exactly on the exterior and bumped out with a large bow window to gain some living area width on the constricted urban site. The first floor serves as a well-paneled and comfy family room, while the upper level was used for a much needed expansion to the master bedroom dressing area and bathroom. No space was wasted in fitting out the family room and dressing area with bookshelves, windowseats and cabinets.
